Have you ever engaged with the NHS procurement process?
Are you likely to be doing so in the future?
If so, we’d love to have you join us for our social mixer on Thursday 30th March, 17:30-20:00, at BIPC Oxford (2nd floor, Oxfordshire County Library, Westgate Shopping Centre, Oxford, OX1 1DJ)
TheHill is Oxfordshire’s health and care digital transformation catalyst. We host a networking event every other month to bring together our community of healthcare professionals, educators and entrepreneurs.
The mixer will provide a great opportunity to network with fellow innovators and healthcare staff at all stages of their procurement journey, and to swap stories, ideas and advice on the NHS procurement process. We will also have an expert speaker in the form of Gary Welch, Director of Procurement and Supply Chain at Oxford University Hospitals (OUH) NHS Foundation Trust, who will be recounting some stories of the more testing moments from his time in procurement. We will also have Jim Gabriel, CCO at Cardmedic who will give an overview of Cardmedic’s journey since conception in 2019 to now being procured by numerous NHS Trusts and having over 55k users.
This social mixer is not only a chance to learn about procurement from experts, but also to shape future procurement training around the issues innovators are encountering with the process. Your feedback and your experiences of sticking points in your own procurement bids will be directly responded to with our upcoming procurement workshops, so it’s an excellent opportunity to further improve the chances of success for innovators in their procurement bids and to change care for the better. Your insights will also be shared with national teams who are currently creating policy, so it’s a real chance to drive positive change in this area.
Whether you’re in the healthcare system or outside it, whether you’re already working with us or would like to find out more about how we can help bring digital innovation into health and care, please come and join us for drinks and canapes and an evening of lively discussion.
At the event we provide companies with an opportunity to pitch their innovation/technology to all present. If you would be interested in a 30 second pitch at the Social Mixer, please email Katrina on [email protected]
We’d love to hear from you so we can better equip innovators for the process in the future. Please join us at our upcoming March social mixer to discuss! Book your seat on Eventbrite.
