Dr Nick De Pennington

Nick is one of NHS England’s Clinical Entrepreneurs and the CEO of Ufonia, a digital health start-up company developing voice-based robotic-process-automation for the management of long-term conditions. In his NHS role he is responsible for developing the Trust’s digital health innovation pathways, as well as implementation of Oxfordshire’s digital population health solutions that will deliver more integrated patient-centred care.
Dr Alexander Finlayson
CEO and Head of Product at Nye Health, Co-Founder of TheHill
Alexander, has 10 years’ experience developing award winning digital health products (raised > £8 million in grant funding for healthcare innovation) and continues to practice as a General Practitioner two sessions each week. He is a Doll Fellow at Green Templeton College, Oxford, was a Kennedy Scholar at Harvard University studying systems biology and Head of Research at the King’s Centre for Global Health. He was awarded British Medical Journal junior doctor of the year in 2012 for founding a DFID funded technology company which delivers capacity building interventions in the health sector in fragile states with a particular focus on Somalia.

Dr Ryan Pink
Senior Lecturer in Molecular Biology and Genomics, Oxford Brookes University
Ryan completed an MSc in Medical Diagnostics and Molecular biology PhD on dietary linked Oesophageal cancer in South Africa, worked on a point-of-care early diagnostic cancer tool and an early cancer diagnostic tool for the International Technology Research Institute in Taiwan. Ryan went to Oxford Brookes as a Research Fellow in 2009 to set up primary blood cell culture and gene profiling in partnership with WIMM, University of Oxford and The Babraham Institute, Cambridge. He consults for the Biotech industry with a molecular biology technologies focus. Ryan helped set up the AHSC MSc Medical Genomics course.

Kerry has experience in governance, business and finance in both public and private sectors, which spans over two decades. She held director positions at other NHS trusts as well as in the private sector, prior to her role as a board member of Oxford Health Nhs Foundation Trust.

Dr Guy Rooney
Medical Director, Oxford AHSN
Guy was medical director at Great Western Hospitals in Swindon prior to joining Oxford AHSN. His focus has been in sexual health and HIV. He is also medical specialist advisor at the Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group.
Dr Siân Rees
Director of Patient & Public Involvement, Engagement & Experience, Oxford AHSN
Siân has a background in public health medicine with over a decade of policy development experience at the Department of Health. She is a former mental health director who has also worked as a public health advisor to NHS commissioners at local and national level.

As an engineer with a background primarily in IT and information, Martyn has 27 years’ public service experience and has served in the Royal Air Force, Thames Valley Police and most recently, at Oxfordshire County Council, where he led IT Services from 2012.
