John followed a degree in chemistry and doctorate in structural and molecular biology at Oxford with post-doctoral research in the University’s Department of Biochemistry. He has subsequently co-founded two biotech SMEs that translated his core research to application in biotechnology and healthcare. He has over 30 years experience of raising funds in academia, SMEs and public sector innovation.
