Programmes and projects

TheHill offers a range of programmes for start-up companies and clinicians, in the UK and in Europe. We also work with partners on a range of projects related to digital health and care.

NHS Market Access Accelerator 2021

Transformative Digital Skills for Healthcare

Ecosystem mapping

Accelerator sessions will run for six months from May 2021. We expect to offer 30 places across two cohorts; 15 in the earlier stage and 15 in the growth stage.

An innovative, interdisciplinary, and impactful programme for heathcare professionals to lead projects and apply digital technologies in the health and care sectors.

The Oxfordshire health and life sciences ecosystem is a diverse and flourishing environment for innovation. We are working with partners across Oxford and the Thames valley to usefully map the ecosystem.

Internet of Things project

Living Oxford

TheHill is taking part in the EIT Health’s Bridgehead programme again this year. It brings together European health entrepreneurs who want to grow their business beyond their home market with the world’s top incubators and accelerators who have the expertise and resources to make it happen.

Pitch-In aims to collaboratively identify and address barriers to the successful development, introduction and further exploitation of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.

Living Oxford is a network organisation set up to support living labs in and around the city. As one of the founding partners, TheHill supports the programme which aims to disseminate best practice. We are responsible for the health care theme of the project, and have been tasked with establishing a special interest group; bringing together the appropriate people.

[Open API Bootcamp]

[WE Health]

TheHill worked with Oxford University Hospitals Foundation Trust to identify the innovative practices that emerged in the hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic.

TheHill’s Open API Bootcamp 2020 introduced participants to the challenge of expansion across territories and integration with electronic patient records to simplify workflow and make adoption more likely. The technical training focussed on the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) standard Application Programming Interface (API), the international standard to integrate with major providers of EPR systems.

WE Health is an EIT Health Campus programme designed to enhance the participation of women in health innovation and entrepreneurship.
