TheHill’s Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) showcase presents a unique opportunity for frontline staff to experience and explore virtual reality technologies and to talk to the companies that produce them. Virtual and Augmented Reality have the capacity to transform healthcare, presenting radically innovative ways of working with patients and staff.
From pain and anxiety relief to rehabilitation to education and training, medical VR/AR is a rapidly expanding field of research producing solutions that are easy to deploy and intuitive to use.
This is an open event where a cross-section of OUH staff and guests from other NHS Trusts and health and social care bodies will get an opportunity to engage with a carefully curated group of companies that we feel are at the forefront of virtual and augmented reality within health care, and who represent a broad range of available solutions With ever increasing choice of VR/AR offered on the market, it will provide practitioners with an informed understanding of what is available and what might support them best in their work.
