The Hill, Oxford’s digital health innovation community, is relaunching its activities and bringing together a community of innovative people to change healthcare for the better. We are helping people like you to use digital technologies to improve the NHS for patients and staff.
Come along to The Hill’s social mixer event on the 13th of February to be inspired by stories from budding entrepreneurs who have benefited from our previous activities. These people are now changing the face of healthcare with their digital innovations. About The Hill
The Hill is Oxfordshire’s digital health innovation community. We make a difference in digital healthcare by bringing together patients, carers, nurses, doctors, healthcare professionals, designers, developers, researchers, business leaders and investors. If you have an idea, you want to improve healthcare using digital technology, or you’d like to help those who are trying to bring solutions to market to benefit patients and the wider health and care system come along to our events to network, learn and engage with a diverse community of healthcare innovators.
Whether you are in “the system” or feel like you are currently outside of it, The Hill is the place to come for support and inspiration in solving the big healthcare challenges of the day, using digital technology. As well as our own events, we collaborate with and can signpost to partners across the ecosystem, including the University of Oxford, Oxford Brookes University, Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust the Oxfordshire Academic Health Science Network, our host Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and start-up and digital networks across Oxfordshire and Thames Valley.
The Hill aims to:
Inspire a positive culture of innovation, success and creativity in the healthcare workforce;
Inspire and support the development of innovative digital ideas which transform healthcare for patients and staff and have the potential for national impact;
Draw together and work with partners across Oxfordshire and the Thames Valley, to establish the area as a centre for digital healthcare innovation.
The Hill is a delivery partner of the Innovation Support for Business (ISfB) programme which is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and is designed to support eligible Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) under the De Minimis State Aid scheme.
