Digital Innovation Officer
Adele spoke to us from her home just outside Oxford, where she lives with her family and a rather high maintenance dog!
Talking books and movies; or are you a series lover?
I don’t really have the time to read, but my favourite book is Bridget Jones Diary. I do enjoy films, not that I have had time to watch many over the past few years. But I do like a good series and my faves are Peaky Blinders, The Line of Duty, The Bay and thrillers in general.
What’s your favourite downtime activity or a hobby you enjoy?
Spending time with my family and friends, cooking and then eating said cooking, drinking fine wines, walking my dog and going on holiday 😉
Do you like animals and do you prefer a particular type of pet?
I love animals all animals…well with the exception of snakes and things like that – yuk
What attracted you to working at TheHill?
It was a complete change to what I had done previously, it could potentially change and make huge impacts in health and care and I felt it was exciting….and I was right!
What’s been the most important thing you’ve learned through the pandemic?
That whatever is thrown at our way, us humans can adapt and work differently and some things have resulted in positive changes.
Who is your hero and why do you find them inspiring?
It is actually a lady from one of the start ups that I have been involved in supporting…I am sure my colleagues will know the answer to this one 😉 I also find most of my colleagues inspiring with all the different qualities and experience that they bring to the team.
If you were famous, what would it be for?
Probably rupturing my achilles tendon whilst river dancing in my kitchen on my birthday and then having to visit the Trust and see some of my old colleagues and fess up to how I did it….
