Oxford Academic Health Partners is the new name for the Oxford Academic Health Science Centre. OAHP’s vision is to respond to major challenges facing healthcare such as healthy ageing, multimorbidity and mental health, AMR and the best use of digital tools to improve care and patient self-management. TheHill has a close relationship with the ACHP.
The Oxford AHSN is an innovation exchange transforming clinical practice, improving patient safety, outcomes and experience, and generating economic growth through collaboration between the NHS, industry and universities. TheHill has match funding through the AHSN and work with them to deliver accelerator programmes.
Oxford Brookes University is a new university in Oxford, England. It became a university in 1992 and was renamed to honour its former principal, John Henry Brookes. It is spread across four campuses, with three primary sites based in and around Oxford and the fourth campus located in Swindon. The university is divided into four faculties: Oxford Brookes Business School, Health and Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Technology, Design and Environment. TheHill has worked with the School of Architecture, the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences and the Research and Business Development Office.
Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is a community-focused organisation that provides physical and mental health services and social care with the aim of improving the health and wellbeing of all our patients and their families.
During 2019 and 2020 TheHill was part funded from the European Regional Development Fund through Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP)’s Innovation Support for Business (ISfB) programme. OxLEP champion’s Oxfordshire’s economic potential, acting as a catalyst and convener to drive a dynamic, sustainable and growing economy. The ISfB programme supported our 2020 NHS Market Access Accelerator.
The University of Oxford is a collegiate research university in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. There is evidence of teaching as early as 1096, making it the oldest university in the English-speaking world and the world’s second-oldest university in continuous operation. The university is made up of 39 semi-autonomous constituent colleges, six permanent private halls, and a range of academic departments which are organised into four divisions. TheHill has worked with various academic departments and with staff and students to apply their expertise and research.
