On 1 October we hosted our online social mixer. With over 70 people registered for the event on EventBrite, our social mixer was for the first time held on Zoom. It was an excellent networking event and we were pleased to see such a diverse group of people.
In this online mixer as well as the opportunity to meet and network with our community, we held a panel discussion on “Innovation during COVID-19: experience and lessons to be learned” with David Walliker (Chief Digital and Partnerships Officer at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust), Trisha Greenhalgh (Professor at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Sciences), Andy Peniket (Clinical Director of Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) and Mikesh Udani (Co-founder and CEO of Albus Health).
Some participants, selected in advance, joined group sessions with members of TheHill team. Sara Cocomazzi (Digital Skills Programme Manager), Jim Gabriel (innovation Adviser) and Rhiannon Lassiter (Head of Marketing) answered questions and discussed a range of topics with the coaching groups. Later everyone participated in speed networking. Groups of three people introduced themselves and had a short five-minute conversation before moving on to another group. This dynamic and interactive session left everyone wanting more.
If you missed the event you can watch our panel discussion below.
Also, we’d love it if you could fill out our short survey on our recent digital social mixer so we know what worked, what to repeat and what to change. We’re looking forward to connecting with you all again soon!
