Join us at Oxford North on Wednesday 13 May 2026 from 5:30pm as we discuss the use of AI in Healthcare, focusing on ethics and governance, with our expert panel, chaired by Megan Morys-Carter.
Our panel of experts include:

Jana Sedlakova
Jana is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford working on the ethical and epistemic challenges of AI systems in healthcare. Her research focuses on ethical and meaningful human–AI collaboration, with a particular focus on conversational AI in psychotherapy and mental health. She analyses how key concepts, such as trust, responsibility, and understanding, change when AI simulates human abilities and is used in sensitive contexts.

Sarah Smith
Sarah Smith is a Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Consultant with over a decade of experience in regulatory compliance, quality management systems, and data protection within the medical device and digital health sectors. Sarah is also a certified Data Protection Officer with hands-on experience supporting NHS digital health compliance, including DTAC and DCB0129 assessments.
